Devlin von Dassel is a beautiful 3 year old long haired German Shepherd. This handsome boy is very socialized and outgoing -- always wagging his tail. Devlin is full of energy and always ready for an adventure. While on a walk, he is very excited and happy. He tends to be a bit of a puller but listens very well when asked to sit and responds to corrections. This boy will be very happy in an active household where he can burn off his energy. Devlin will be more than happy to go on outdoor adventures, anywhere from hikes, runs or beach trips. He is very happy to meet new people, and always receives positive attention. Devlin could benefit from some basic training and learning how to be a bit calmer when needed. He tends to meet new people by giving them a big hug, unaware of how large he is. He is definitely an active boy that loves to keep busy; being energetic and shepherd-smart, he might get bored if left alone for too long. He walks well next to other dogs. During playgroups he tends to meet other dogs in a very energetic way. Some dogs might not appreciate his high energy but there are other dogs that love it. With the right dog Devlin will run around and play for hours. You and Devlin can get off to a good start by taking advantage of the free, one-hour, group obedience class that comes with his adoption.
